Talk to me!!!
I have gone completely cross-eyed and simply cannot write any more of my column that's due on Monday.
And yet, every night this week as I lay down to sleep, I have coughed and coughed and coughed until I kinda think my esophagus is eroded. These are not the abs of steel I wanted! So, not really relishing bedtime.
Let's do this instead. Give me a fannish prompt--pairing, character, situation, *something*, and I'll write you one hundred words right now on the spot, insta-fic.
:)

Hmmmm. fannish prompt. I'll give you a few choices, hopefully make it easier.
Giles & Xander (as friends or pre-slash) talking either in person (a secret visit?) or on the phone after the wedding that wasn't. (yes, my latest love is giles/xander).
OR
Janet and Daniel having coffee late at night talking about Sam & Pete. (spin it anyway you want, just not jo/sc). OR talking about Jack during the 'shades of grey' debacle.
OR
Tara & Xander and a late night with just them and the books. Post Willow's memory crystal spell ('tabula rasa')
(how random, they just ran a spanish language commercial on HGTV, it used 'the little mermaid' but was for "keepouroceansclean.org").
So, rather vagueish. :)
Xander imagines Giles taking off his glasses and polishing them on the hem of his button down shirt. “Yes, Xander, I’m afraid that’s an understatement of the highest magnitude.” Giles sighs and Xander can hear the faint clink of ice on glass. He can almost smell the scotch. “You can still go to her,” Giles says. “Time is of the essence. You’re not too late.”
Oh, yes, I am, Xander thinks. By years. He falls asleep that night to the smell of ink and paper, the sound of blades on whetstones, a librarian’s cough.
