Somewhere along the way, we as fandom decided that when we wanted to do something really *smart* with a fic, something introspective and character driven and insightful and maybe just a little subversive, that she is the go to gal. And I think partly that's because she's such a deliciously blank slate, but I love fandon for that. Love it.
