Okay, because apparently inspiration has struck me (and I'm not feeling intensely inspired to write the fics I *should* be working on) I've managed to weld the parts of the background that I didn't manage to fit in Second Chances, into a sequel fic:

A Year in the Future wherein Kate explores both the future that she's found herself in, and the people that she's sharing it with, over the course of a year.

Hopefully it isn't too bad. :)
