I decanted everyone an imp of Eau de Rochas. I think the rest of what you're getting is BPAL. I have tried to remember to write the year on the BPAL imp labels that I bought, but I may have forgotten one or two as I went through and last minute added some imps to the give-away pile. You may have an imp or two that someone swapped me of indeterminate age. I really do think the age of the imp affects the smell, so if you're curious, ask me and I'll let you know if it's a 2014 imp I forgot to label.
Suggestions for testing: You can look up a description of each scent on the BPAL website. Fragrantica and Basenotes also have good note listings for scents. If you're really serious about figuring out what you like, you might want to keep some kind of record as you test. I would also suggest not giving up on a scent immediately unless you have a visceral DO NOT WANT OMG ICK ICK reaction; some scents morph quite a bit over time, and I know I've ended up enjoying perfumes I didn't like until the top note burned off.
