OMFG, Walking Dead!
YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES!
Chris Hardwick just called this one of the best episodes of TWD ever, and he's not wrong.
Take that, Negan's gang. Daryl Dixon done blowed you up with a rocket launcher. We all crowed with joy when that happened. I was positive that Abraham and Sasha were about to bite the big one. So relieved.
Glenn is alive! Maggie is alive! Everyfuckingbody is alive! (Except for Jessie, Ron, and Sam, and good riddance; I know that's super cold, but Ron has wanted to murder Carl and Rick from the get-go, and Sam lost his marbles a million years ago; Jessie could have made a go of it, but I never bought the romance between her and Rick; it was weird and off-putting to me).
I loved the whole town stepping up and fighting the fight; I loved Rick's understanding that Deanna's vision could come true and his willingness to try to make a real home, a real life for all of them. Love Daryl setting the lake on fire. Love Michonne kissing Carl's forehead before she joins the fight. Love Doctor Lady finding her courage so much. Love Eugene insisting on fighting.
Love Gabriel taking charge of Judith and then joining the fight. I love the theme of "faith without works is dead." Enid gets it now. Gabriel gets it now. The Alexandrians get it now. And now Rick is going to have faith; works have always been easy for him; faith has been the hard part.

Re: I watched it with my husband for V-Day, LOL
I love all Glenn and Edith's interactions. He's such a damn good guy.
Denise is awesome. She will become a fave for sure if they keep letting her have screen time like this. Carol is sadly slipping off her pedestal a bit for me. :/

They wouldn't. They couldn't!
Re: I watched it with my husband for V-Day, LOL
The end of this series is going to be baby Judith, alone, toddling off into the woods with an Uzi strapped to her chest.

"But that would be MEAN!"
(pause)
