I really hope I do get promoted. It's all such a crapshoot, but at least I have tenure no matter what. I could go up for full professor every year from now until the end of time, be rejected every time, and still keep my job. LOL

Thank you for the hugs. I think I struggle with feeling like it's okay for me to feel bad or angry about stuff because I'm supposed to be taking care of everyone else. Venting here helps.
