I'm in reasonably good shape and was surprised at how quickly I've been able to get back into it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not running more than a couple of miles at this point, and not all in a row. But after a few sessions I look forward to getting out there - even in the ridiculous heat we've been having - and that's what really counts, IMO. And (almost) nothing beats the post-running glow. :P
