Congrats on the win! (Your story reminded me of my dad. I won tickets to a Mary Chapin Carpenter concert on the radio (dating myself here) on my birthday, too! I was going to invite my brother to go, but my dad informed me that ~he'd like to go. So my dad and I went to this concert, front row (small venue) and he was afraid the entire concert that she was going to make him go up on stage because he'd heard stories of that sort of thing happening, lol! She didn't. *g*) (As it turns out, today was a good day to have that memory.)
