I don't know? I'm guessing because they weren't bothering me at the time and also insurance? They didn't take the two at the same time, either. One was done under anesthesia (they had to dig it out of the bone? *shudder*) and the other was just pulled sometime later, which was a surprise because I didn't think they could do that.
