The Raven TowerThe Raven Tower by Ann Leckie

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I really like this novel. I love the way the story unfolds slowly (the way this narrator does everything) and skips around in time. I love the way that, more than anything else, this story is about the narrator figuring out an identity and values and making choices based on both. I devoured this in a single day; despite being long, it's a very quick and interesting read. I'd love to read more set in this world, especially about what happens next.

Although the story doesn't say one way or the other, I'd like to think that the Strength and Patience of the Hills has been communicating with the Myriad who has been desperately beefing up the Tel to go save her friend. I was delighted at the end to see that she'd survived the Raven's attack.

This is exactly the way that happens for sure. So sweet and fun.

I was so happen that The Myriad survived, and came back to help The Strength and Patience! I would have liked to see Eolo stay and become a priest of TSaP, but maybe that'a sequel.

Annnnd, here's a drawing of TSaP! :D

I didn't read the spoilers, but I checked it out at Amazon and it sounds good. I've added it to my (ever growing) list of books to get from the library. Thanks!
