1. Josh got promoted to Senior Lecturer!!!!!! I have been so worried about this and what it might mean for us if he was denied this promotion. Our system has a rule that you can only be a Lecturer for ten years unless you are promoted to Senior Lecturer, which made me really nervous. I am so proud of him and so relieved and so grateful. This is huge. I cried when he opened the letter.
2. Six months ago, the light and fan in the study stopped working. A friend came over to repair it today, and it was, ah, a dead battery in the wall panel. *headdesk* :)
3. Yesterday Fiona told me she wants to marry a boy who is nice but rich and older than she is but smaller than she is. *dies laughing*

Glad you got your light fixed. Even if it was an easy fix. At least you didn't have to rewire anything!
And It sounds like Fiona wants to marry up. Not a bad goal in life! LOL!
