Iron Man
I don't really have much to say about this one. Honestly, I found myself intensely bored for the first like hour of the movie and then even when I started liking it a little, I was antsy and ready for it to be over already. I didn't hate it, but definitely not my favorite. One of the things I liked the best about it was that Gwynnie Pal didn't die, she was integral to the movement of the plot, and while there was definite sexual tension between her character and Stark, she was all, "Um no. You're a tomcat and I have a reputation to uphold and also you're a douchebag. Lemme go buy myself another dress with your money now." LOL
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
Oh, man. I loved this movie and so did Josh. I didn't really know what it was about; I'm pretty sure one of you wrote something for it for Yuletide or something and that's where I first heard it. I love the fourth wall breakage and all the silly dialogue and the way that everything turns out perfectly in the end. I am, however, perplexed by one thing. At the very end when RDJR and ValK go and visit the abusive father who's dying, VK stops and looks at the beer commerical on the TV. What's up with that? It's not Harmony. IDK.
This goes outside the cut because it's just that fantastic. Fantastic Mr. Fox is simply that. And lookeeloo, if
glossing hasn't already written fic that is also fantastic.

That was me! See, I can prove it. My diabolical plan to get you into all of my fandoms is going so well. As for the beer commerical at the end, I think it was just a moment of Perry thinking of the dad seeing Harmony's commericals, even though some other girl has the job now. Like, she was too good for the dad, too good for her small town, and too good for the stupid commercial all at the same time, you know?

You do have a wonderful habit of introducing me to new fandoms. :)
Okay, that interpretation of that scene makes sense to me. Thanks, sweets.
