1. Josh got promoted to Senior Lecturer!!!!!! I have been so worried about this and what it might mean for us if he was denied this promotion. Our system has a rule that you can only be a Lecturer for ten years unless you are promoted to Senior Lecturer, which made me really nervous. I am so proud of him and so relieved and so grateful. This is huge. I cried when he opened the letter.

2. Six months ago, the light and fan in the study stopped working. A friend came over to repair it today, and it was, ah, a dead battery in the wall panel. *headdesk* :)

3. Yesterday Fiona told me she wants to marry a boy who is nice but rich and older than she is but smaller than she is. *dies laughing*

It was really good! Ben's brother Jesse and his new-ish wife were looking for a home. And Erin made a personal announcement. *vbg*

Once I sent that message I got all sorts of links about Erin and she's about 6 mos now. Such a disconnect with the timing of the show. Also, thank you, big brother. o_O

That's why I'm always like, no we are not buying the robot fridge or whatever. The last thing I need is my freaking dishwasher spying on me.

LOL, exactly, no robot fridges to keep track of anything, especially what I put inside it. *g*

I also wanted to say that the ep was good even outside of that little tidbit. We met Ben's mom and one of his brothers, and there were pics of the four of them as littles. It felt like a cool family ep.

That's awesome. I love it when people seem to be genuinely nice. I mean, it's all persona for TV, and I get that, but their TV persona seems pretty close to who they really are, and I like that.
