what light through yonder window breaks?
1. The migraine is gone! I attribute this to all your well wishes in conjunction with my BFF M coming to witch doctor me up and anoint me with oils on Friday. I woke up Saturday headache free. :)
2. Emma is clearing out her room *sob*, so I have two coloring books free to good home: one is called Detailed Designs and Patterns and the other is Dot-to-Dot Therapy. Let me know if you want them, and I'll shoot them to you media mail.
3.
When True Night Falls by C.S. Friedman
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
The first half of this book drags for me, but when Hesseth, Damien, and Tarrant find Jenseny, it picks up and is a nail-biter until the end.
I really, really love the dramatic changes that both Damien and Tarrant go through; the evolution of their relationship is fascinating.
But Hesseth is my favorite, and her loss hurts. :(

5. Rec me something. Any category: book, food, notebook, website, flower to smell, whatever. :)

Same with the ones I've read. Just gorgeous writing.
The Felix Castor ones are London books and they kinda remind me of Mieville's Kraken in the way the setting is almost another character.

It's been awhile since I read them so I can't remember specifics. Girl might be too dark as well; it does take place in a post-apocalyptic world.

Koli/Ramparts is in a long-past apocalyptic world, which is pretty cool. There's some dark stuff, but a lot of goodness and found family too.
