Just lovely. The flashback to Rodney's high school days and his pleasure whenever one of the 'cool kids' smiled at him, however sneakily, set up the rest perfectly. His arrogance and hubris are hiding a lack of self-esteem so deep that he really doesn't understand why the new set of cool kids would actually like him.
Rodney wants to be embarrassed when Ronon cups the soft flesh of his belly or when he pinches a nipple firmly between his finger and thumb, but the blatant desire on Ronon’s face prevents him.
My schmoopy heart envisages a future where Ronon continues to show him he's worthwhile, desirable and lovable. Awww.
