I've read a fair amount of Supernatural RPF and like you, my favorite pieces are those that connect in some way to what I've seen of Jared and Jensen on the screen. I like RPF that references the shooting of X episode much more than Jared and Jensen are dogwalkers that run into each other in the park. Although, that's fun too.
As far as writing more goes, I dunno. I didn't even know there was a fandom. LOL Every time I say that, though (hello SGA), I end up writing a metric ton, so who knows. LOL
