SGA recs: More rare pairs

After Doranda, Rodney is ostracized by most of the expedition, but support comes from an unexpected quarter. Oh ye of little faith, have I steered you wrong yet? I think not. Go read.
Rolling by Kat Reitz and Tzigane Adult Rodney/Dean Winchester (SPN Xover) Jesus Christ is this some excellent, excellent porn. It's all pitch perfect--Dean and Rodney's motivations are both gloriously fucked and the superb characterization of each makes this a joy to read. I wish these writers would continue with this pairing.

frostfire_17 Sheppard/Daniel Jackson (SG-1 Xover) Adult This has been recced to kingdom come and back and deservedly so. It's apocafic of the very best kind--we are thrust into a world where the Wraith are destroying Earth and John is cut off from both Atlantis and the friends who followed him through the Gate home. This is splendidly bleak--just a ragtag band trying to survive and take out as many Wraith as they can. The moments of joy in this fic shine so brightly for all the despair that surrounds them. John and Daniel's characterizations are nothing less than genius. I would never in a million years have put these two together and this author makes it work in a spectacular way. She pares them down to the essentials and then thrusts them together in a way that seems inevitable and not in the least bit contrived. Let me also say that while this is angsty, I think fic's end will more than make up for the heartbreak.
