Lorraine is Happy Because

executrix with a skirt (that I wore today!) and a sweet ruffledy scarf, and lip balm (which Emma and I are sharing), and all these teensy cups and saucers and teapots. Lovely, lovely gifts, Exec. Thank you.

3. My Firefly stories Touched, or Eight Fragments and Five Rather Nasty and Sadistic Things that Never Happened to Simon Tam were nominated at the Serenity on the Hellmouth Awards. I had forgotten about those stories; it seems so long ago that I was in Firefly fandom, but I'm pleased with both stories and it's nice to get recognition for stuff I wrote a long time ago. Thank you anonymous nommer!
4. I got a job today. It's only for nineteen hours a week but it's several dollars more than minimum wage an hour and hopefully I can find a second part time something as well.
