I think that what I like most about this fic is its sense of emotional honesty. I love how angry Ron is to begin with, how indifferent. And I love the scene with the Christmas ornaments--how telling it is of Molly and how wonderfully Ron rises to the occasion, if only internally.

I sometimes like to read a version of things where Harry doesn't make it. This is a good one.
