The Pigeon Needs a Bath! by Mo Willems
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
My daughter loves this book. The illustrations are fantastic, it's very funny, and she's almost able to really read it for herself. All of Mo Willems' books have gone over extremely well in this house. I tend to not like the Elephant and Piggie books so well as a reader because they're very light on text and much heavier on illustration, but my daughter adores them (and probably for the same reason LOL).

3. I have started buying Christmas presents. Go, me! So much better to spread the expenditure out over a couple months rather than all at once (especially since we've got like five December birthdays to buy for as well).
4. I finished reading my Yuletide source material, took four pages of typed notes, and have about 500 words of fic already! I am so stoked. I also have about 500 words of treat going. Once I finish those two fics, I am going to attempt two more treats. *crosses fingers*
