I am repeating my last post to some degree, but I have loved this season so far. Carol storming into Terminus like a badass and taking back her friends was awesome. I love that Tyreese single-handedly slaughters a pack of walkers to save Judith. The utter joy and gratitude from both Rick and Carl when they see Judith alive makes me tear up just thinking about it now. Also, Daryl hugging Carol was kinda the high point of that episode for me. The way he hugs her reminds me so much of the way Dean hugs Ellen in the episode when the Roadhouse burns down.

I like that the show lets us know that the Termites were originally good people who essentially broke with reality as a result of rape and torture. Over and over again we see people who begin with the best of intentions only to have those intentions thwarted and perverted. The priest's story was really interesting to me. I figured he had been cowardly rather than actively evil, but he's another example of a person who's abdicated the principles he built his life on in the interests of self preservation.

I think baby Judith might be my favorite on the whole show. She(they) is so adorable. I like that she's old enough now to really interact with the cast--fiddle with stuff, make noises, etc.

After Bob left the celebration in the church to go cry in the woods alone, Josh and I were all OMG, Bob got bit! But then Talking Dead didn't speculate and nobody on line was speculating. So when he started hollering "Tainted meat!!!" and laughing his ass off, I felt both ashamed and vindication. Bob's death was so well done. I cried pretty much that entire episode. His poise, grace, and gratitude for the joy he was able to experience (rather than anger at what he'd lost)--so classy and moving. I also thought Sasha missed the whole point of Tyreese suggesting that she forgive the Termites. IMHO, you don't forgive people because they deserve forgiveness. Forgiveness is for the forgiver. I think what he really means is to caution her not to be consumed by anger; he doesn't want her to stop being the woman Bob fell in love with.

I absolutely adored the episode with Beth. That hospital was creepy to the max--slavery, rape, and a host of other evils overlooked in the name of the greater good. *shudders* Another example of a situation that started out with the best intentions and quickly fell off the rails. Beth's quick thinking and resourcefulness was awesome. I loved that after Gorman pseudo-rapes her with a lollipop, she conks him over the head with a whole jar of them and lets the woman he's been raping gnaw his sorry ass face off. I love that her friend is able to escape and the look of joy on her face when she realizes he's escaped was beautiful. I firmly believe that Carol and Daryl scoped the whole thing out and that Carol has roughed herself up to get inside the hospital. I am going to be super pissed if either she or Carol die.
