Parents growing old at a distance is a problem. My mom always looked after my dad, but now mom's on her own and although she's doing well, she'll be 90 in December and I worry. But relocating her -- they say it's a really bad idea for someone that age to move, like she copes well in a familiar environment, but having to learn new everything? Anyway it's so expensive around here and she wouldn't want to live in the city and if she's in an outer 'burb, I can fly to Buffalo as quickly as . . . aargh. Sorry. Not about me.
But yes, the point is that I feel what you and Josh are going through. So very much. All the best for things to go as well as possible and for everyone to get what they need, Josh's dad, Josh's mom, the two of you and his sister. *hugs*
