SG-1 love plus a couple talking points
Jul. 9th, 2013 03:58 pm1. For those of you who have children/work with children, any recommendations for a baby monitor? I get a bit overwhelmed reading the reviews on Amazon especially since every single model seems to have both ravingly positive reviews and reviews that suggest that the monitor was made by Satan to destroy the sanity of new parents. LOL
2. Breast feeding question: To those for whom this applies, how did you handle breast feeding in public? I'm starting to feel a teensy weensy bit trapped here (probably because I feel pretty good physically and mentally as opposed to the morass of deep despair I floundered in after Ems was born; leaving the house was the furthest thing from my mind back then), but I'm not quite sure how to handle the whole breast feeding while away task. Fiona is only two weeks old, and I have heard that as kids get older, breast feeding sessions typically become shorter; right now, she's taking roughly 30 minutes to nurse each time. Plus, I have to prop her up with pillows, and it just feels like this involved process or something. I know it's really not. IDK Share with me your breast feeding stories and make me feel better. LOL
3. So, I'd seen NCIS before at Mom and Dad's, but this past week while Mom was here helping with Fiona, no less than two channels had 24 hour NCIS marathons. We watched a lot of NCIS. And now I'm wondering if there's a fandom and if any of you are in that fandom. LOL What are the major ships? Who wants to rec me fic? *hopeful eyes*
4. Season 4 SG-1 is an almost completely perfect season of television. The episodes are so well-written with a strong sense of continuity. Thoughts I've had while watching include:
