The Top of My Bucket List

I don't really have a list of things to do before I die. I've got a list of things I want to accomplish in the next five years though. It includes buying a house, getting tenure, turning my dissertation into a book, making exercise an every day part of my life, and publishing at least one piece of fiction or creative non-fiction.

My Most Proud Moment

Oh man. I don't know. I was proud of graduating all the times I did so. I was proud of my kids after I gave birth to them. I was proud of getting promoted. I was proud of how popular that Die Hard Yuletide fic got. LOL I am proud every time a student lets me know I've changed his or her life in some meaningful way.

The Meaning Behind My Blog Name

Approximately one million years ago, when everyone was on AOL, I chose lunabee34 for my screen name because lunabee was taken. We had a cat named Luna at the time, and I called her Lunabee. I chose the 34 randomly. This is the only year Lunabee will actually be 34. LOL When I got onto LJ, some lovely friends made me a journal and just used my email handle as my screen name. If I had it to do all over, I'd choose a different screen name, but at this point, I'm almost ten years in and not willing to change my name.

What Do I Collect

Dishes!!!!!! Specifically demitasse cups.
Silver!!! Especially salt cellar spoons.
Little notebooks. My god do I have a little notebook addiction.

A Difficult Time in My Life
