Fiona has pneumonia
Jan. 17th, 2015 10:07 pmI took her to the doctor this morning, nearly on a whim, because she'd had a bit of temp yesterday, nothing big--99--and I knew if she was getting sick it'd be Tuesday before I could get her in anywhere.
Thank god I did. She has full blown pneumonia. We were there so long getting XRAYS and blood tests, and she was such a trooper. She only cried when they gave her a shot of Rocephin. She didn't cry when they pricked her finger or anything, and when the nurse put a bandaid on her finger she said thank you. *I* started crying at that point.
She's been eating normally, playing and laughing, no indication that anything's wrong. I brought her home, fed her, put her down for a nap, and since she woke up, she's been so pitiful--feverish, lethargic, shaking.
I'm really worried. This sucks. :(
