Captain Marvel: Totally Marvelous

I enjoyed the heck out of this movie.

I hope I get to see this in the theater again!

1. Emma has been watching Let's Plays of the newly released Resident Evil game, so we watched the original movie. It is not as awesome as I remembered it being LOL although I do still like it. The CGI just doesn't hold up given how far that tech has come, for one thing. However, Alice and Rain are suitably badass, the mutated Dobermans are super creepy, and the murderous AI with a child's voice is still scary. I kept listening to James Purefoy swallow his British accent and thinking fondly of both Marc Antony and Joe Carroll. :) Emma liked it well enough that she wants to see the second one. I realized when I went to the wikipedia page that I have actually seen ALL six of the Resident Evil movies which is indeed a dubious accomplishment.
