Saturday Sundries
May. 4th, 2019 08:23 am1. I started writing a Guardian fic! I'm intimidated. *wibbles*
2. I finished December and January of the Guardian comm last night! I shall treat myself with February today if I get enough grading done. :)
3.
Regency House Party: Companion to the PBS Series by Lucy Jago
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I only caught one or two episodes of this show, and reading this book makes me wish I'd watched the whole thing. This book goes into detail about how they chose the house and completely remodeled and redecorated it to make it all period compliant; it talks about choosing the staff and making the clothes. It gives thorough historical context for the time period, and it details what happened during the series. If you are interested in this time period or were a fan of the show, this is well worth a read.

4. I started rereading Patrick Rothfuss's The Name of the Wind. Damn, that's a good book.
5. Fiona is feeling so much better. After just a couple doses of meds, she is eating regularly and bouncing off the walls. She'll be able to go back to school on Monday which is good because Josh has finals to give, and I have to take Emma to her neurology appointment.
