I unironically enjoy Big Bang as well, even as it hits certain flat notes from problematic assumptions. I'm behind on seasons, as I am with everything, but I wouldn't have head canon for it if I didn't weirdly love it.
And I do have head canon.
Also, the flat notes have been excellent jumping off points for discussions with the kiddo, dissecting exactly those problematic assumptions.
