It's hard when friends move further away, even if an hour away is (so much!) closer than across the country or something. Are these friends online at all, or good with staying in touch in other ways? *sympathies*
As for perfume...this is the time of year when I'm most likely to dip back into my stash, since I love the autumn scents so. (Aging as they are, and therefore fading/changing in some cases.)
