Biggest loose end for me clone Jack. And I totally get why but still not happy about it. YAY for fanfics to the rescue!

Yes!!!

I would have loved for there to be some references to him sprinkled throughout. That would have been very easy to do.

I also think it makes absolutely no sense for the SGC to waste his expertise; maybe they don't want him rubbing up against Jack Prime; I can get that would be weird. So send him to Atlantis. Send him out into the galaxy. Make him part of Homeworld Defense.

The SGC is used to dealing with little grey aliens. I think they can wrap their head around someone who looks like a kid actually being an adult.

There were actually more loose ends than a six-year-old's first knitting project, so I can't pick just one.... we love in spite of the flaws.

Jonas was okay (but I will never stop being gobsmacked at the areyoutryingtotorpedothischaracter? way they introduced him. He just put me in mind of a overly complacent hamster - but not an intentional or amusing one - for me to care one way or t'other.

I find the first twoish seasons of SG-1 almost unbearably tedious, but then it gets into its groove, and I just love it.

Episode that made me rather traumatically bail out of the series in one: Heroes. That ep still makes me metaphorically breathe fire and want to cry. It was a heck of a way for this baby queer to finally admit her crush to herself, thus starting the slow process of coming out, let me tell you. I owe it that, but only that. As far as I'm concerned, that ep never happened. If I ever write SG1 fanfic again, I will be ignoring it good and soundly. Janet deserves so much better.

OMG, yes! That episode is so very well done. It breaks my heart. But I hate that we lose Janet. I love when she shows back up in that alternate realities episode.

... One person's well-done is another person's torment, another person's foreshadowing subtle enough to be a mallet to the head when it all clicks in retrospect. I know it's true. :( That ep had enough of an effect on me that it went right past enjoyably heart-rending, spun a U-turn and punched me in the heart instead, and not in the fun way. I know, horribly overinvested, but it essentially forced me to come out to myself, so maybe not?

I couldn't watch Ripple Effect, even for the appearance of an alternate Janet. Maybe especially because of that.
