1.

Tuesday

Bunnicula chapter 6; draw a picture of Harold eating the steak and Chester looking forlornly through the window; write three things Chester tried this chapter to destroy Bunnicula

Packet from school; google classroom; coloring sheets

nature walk in galoshes to stomp puddles
draw with chalk

Fiona was less antsy today but seemed a little sad about missing friends and not going to school.

Emma is having fun with her teachers on Google classroom. They keep posting really sweet things to the students.

Wednesday

Bunnicula chapter 7; draw a picture of Chester blocking Bunnicula from eating; Why is Bunnicula tired and listless?

packet from school; google classroom

nature walk in galoshes to stomp puddles
the owl and the hawk were fussing at each other; damn, that owl is loud!
legos

Fiona antsy and distracted again. I think this is getting a little hard on her.

I was gonna post more, but I ran out of steam. Today feels hard for no good reason.

Tell me something, friends. :) I want to talk to you!!

I'm sorry you had hard day. Uncertainty is difficult.

Today we took the kid to a closed regional Park parking lot to rid her bike. Lots of space there but it started raining so we came home

We are going to try to go again.

Uncertainty makes everyone anxious -- but there is a lot of it right now.

I was so effing productive today at my teaching job!!!

Talked three friends off the ceiling.

My turn was crying like a baby at a DS9 episode. See my post.

My main thing is trying not to worry about Older Prince, who is out and about every day in his job.

ALL THE HUGS

Random fun fact: The country that eats the most doughnuts is Canada.

What, I got nothing much to say tonight. LOL. I spent most of the day faffing about on YouTube and Discord and washing dishes. I hope you feel better tomorrow.

I've been chatting all morning on Discord so that's more than what I've done. LOL. You're very productive.

Why is Bunnicula tired and listless?

I feel you, Bunnicula.

I think maybe the psychological effects are settling in -- both that this is an enormous change, and we really don't know what's going to happen in the future. I spent most of my day napping, comfort reading fluff and washing my hands even tho the only person I saw was T.

Aww, poor love. It's got to be terrible to be a kid in the midst of all this.

I am always looking ahead, planning for the future, working on the thing now that'll be due three months from now, and not being able to have any idea what the future will be like is really disconcerting for me

Me, too! I mean, I spend more time futurefucking than planning, usually, but even my hopped-up "let's try to figure out the very worst and prepare for it mentally" PTSD brain did not foresee anything like our possible future(s). LESSON LEARNED, reality.

//HUGS you

Last week, the neighbor's kids came over to talk while I was gardening. Today, we just waved at each other across the fence. I miss hanging out!

Yeah, definitely more frustration today, more tears, more "I don't wanna!"

Then I tricked him into going for a walk by saying, "Oh, I saw the strangest penguin shadow outside!" and we had a great time.

Today feels easier for me. I seem to have gotten past the shocked phase and moved on to brisk pragmatism. I am sure I will loop back for some more grief and shock later, but it's nice to pace myself. Today I made a Boston cream pie, ordered groceries to be delivered, did some laundry and dishes, and learned that moles are hemophiliacs. I may even get some writing done before bed. So brisk pragmatism is largely a good thing today.

This sucks the big one and I hate being stuck in the house. On the other hand I also don't want to get sick. Hope you are all well and not on each others nerves yet, my house is a powder keg at times!

I did lots of grading yesterday. (It's early morning here, so my achievements today are limited to feeding the cats.) And then I did some Guardian novel proofreading. And then I watched an episode of a very bad Korean drama, and decided that said drama did not merit watching further.

It must be so hard when you have kids to look after and they're not happy. 💔

I'm sorry you're having a rough day. *hugs*

I'm fine today but was really thin-skinned and teared up easily yesterday.

We got our vegetables and fruits box delivered today. Is that a thing in the US? Basically you pay a fixed price and get a selection from a local farmer. You can't pick what you get specifically, the farmer assembles it. So now we have lots of yummy stuff like grapes and melon and bell peppers and pears.

I love that you took Fiona out to stomp puddles!

Could you set up skype or facetime so Fiona could have a 'sort of' play date with some friends?

*beams* It was on my mind because I told my mom she should do the same so she can see the grandkids when she talks to them.
