This is an utter delight from start to finish. My six year old couldn't quite figure out the mystery and was on the edge of her seat the whole time. Harold the dog is one of my favorite narrators of all time.

Much like Arietty, I vastly preferred the Borrowers outdoors. In this volume, they've left the big house and must fend for themselves in the wild. I really enjoyed reading all the clever ways they use their surroundings to their advantage. The kiddo has continued to enjoy this series very much.

This is a clever jaunt through history aimed at the young reader. I think my first-grader will really enjoy this when we're done with the Borrowers books.

This is very cute. I love the mystery and how Stuart figures it out.
I also like the way it introduces readers to vocabulary--Stuart's dad writes crosswords for a living so he's always using obscure words. It's much more natural than the way the vocab is introduced in the Lemony Snicket books.

Absolutely love. Harold is such a good narrator, and Chester's overactive imagination is always fun to behold. Definitely lives up to my memories of reading it as a child.

I listened while the kiddo read this to her stuffed animals. It is the very cute--nay--super cute adventures of a princess who is also a superhero and a mermaid. LOL
