The best outcome of this will be if it can be a wake up call to FIL that we have got to get some mechanisms in place for MIL's care and that there is help out there for him to accept. He has thus far rejected every offer of help and every suggestion we have put forward for the past couple of years for ways to deal with their situation. Hopefully this will be the catalyst for change.
