1. I have had an awful migraine this week; the temperatures were in the 80s last week and now they're in the 20s. Weather changes are one of my migraine triggers. Also, I don't think Ubrelvy is as effective as Nurtec, but my insurance won't cover Nurtec anymore. I mostly feel okay today, though, so hopefully the migraine won't flair back up again and is actually gone.

3. I'm a little more than 100 pages into Stranger Things fic sorted by kudos. Some more trivia:

There's been a teensy, tiny bit of Nancy/Steve sprinkled throughout, but the majority of the het is background Lucas/Max and or Mike/El with a major slash pairing, Chrissy/Eddie, and Steve/Nancy/Jonathan.

Once I hit about page 70, I started seeing a lot of alpha/beta/omega fic; they were very few and far between before that.

4. Somebody needs to make a Stranger Things vid to The Barenaked Ladies song "Grade 9."

My elder son is here for the weekend. It's great to see him but he is very sad. His roommates wrecked his truck. But that was the last straw that will finally motivate him to move out. I have been afraid for a year that he is spending too much on their endless problems -- he paid for their cat's surgery -- and I think them wrecking the truck that belonged to my dad was the last straw.

It's great to see him regardless.

He says he will move in with another friend who needs a roommate and that should be 200 percent less drama.

They are remorseful and want to pay for the repairs but they are dead broke all the time. He usually gives them extra money each month. I'm so glad he is moving. It's been a lesson in boundaries for him.

I don't have migraines *hugs you gently* but I get sinus headaches with weather changes like that as they're so narrow. One doctor referred to my 'barometer head.' ;D

Yes! It's exactly like that. It used to be my knees that heralded any change in the weather. Now it's my head.

I'm so sorry about your migraine. I hope it goes away soon. The weather is supposed to warm up for next week, I am not sure if that'll help since it's another weather change.

How did the move go last weekend?

I finally feel better today, thank goodness.

It went well. It didn't rain for the drive even though it had been projected to, the traffic wasn't as awful as it could have been, and they got everything done they needed to do.

Josh is nervous about his dad being out of supervision, but he seems to be doing okay so far.

You should contact the company that makes Nurtec. Sometimes they can help you afford the med at a cheaper price if insurance won't cover it. Worth a try?

I hate how they persist and how they make you sick to your stomach and how when you've got one, you can't do anything else. At least when you've got something like a cold you can read or watch TV.

I'm glad you're feeling better! I hate regular headaches, so I can't imagine how awful a migraine must feel. Also, 20 degrees?!! I can't believe it got that cold for you! I hope it warms up SLOWLY so you don't get another migraine.

It continues to be fascinating to hear your kudos-sorted anecdotes on trends in the ST fandom. Even though I've also been marinating in Steve/Eddie fic, I've been filtering by pairing and searching for tropes I'm interested in, so I haven't experienced the same birds-eye look on fandom!
