Schrodinger's Cat

A paradoxical scent experiment! – tangerine, sugared lime, pink grapefruit, oakmoss, lavender, zdravetz, and chocolate peppermint.

We ended up with two imps of this somehow. Emma really liked it, so she kept one and we swapped the other. She smelled orange, chocolate, lime, geranium and lavender. This was not one that Josh liked very much, but I liked it alright. I smelled everything Emma smelled; the citrus is sharp and the lavender is a bit camphorous to balance out the sugary citrus. The chocolate disappears for me relatively quickly. It smells like a perfume for a teen--light, fruity, citrusy.

Troll

A lurching, hateful, bitter scent. This is a gruesome blend of ghastly greens and blacks: vetiver, pine pitch, troll musk, black basil, clove smoke, and scorched cumin.

Emma thinks this smells like clove and cat urine. I smell pine, clove, basil with a licorice edge, pitch, tar, maybe smoke, and maybe leather. It's a bit overwhelming; wearing it would be too much of a performance for me. I think it's an interesting smell but not all that wearable, at least for me.

Twinkle, Twinkle Little Bat

A sparkly, batty little scent: green tea, melon, mint, lime rind, and champagne grape with lemon balm, mullein, and toadflax.

Emma smells grape, lemon, lime and tea; it reminds her of her beloved Titania. I smell melon, grape, and tea but no mint or citrus. It reminds me of Bess but isn't very long lasting. Emma took this one.

How Doth the Little Crocodile

Chocolate peppermint, mint-soaked vanilla, pistachio, oakmoss, and green cedar.

Emma smells chocolate, mint, pistachio, and green cedar. This starts out like a York Peppermint Patty on me, slowly adds some pistachio, and then turns entirely into cedar tinged with vanilla as it mellows. Josh likes it on Emma, but thinks it smells too woody on me.
