Fanfic Appreciation
Mar. 9th, 2005 11:23 amI forgot to make a Fanfic Author's Appreciation post yesterday, so this one'll be extra long.
First off, I have found a really great archive Hurt/Comfort Slash. If you love h/c fics as much as I do, this site deserves a looksee. On this site, I found several worthwhile reads. First Sweet Revenge by Jackson. "Sweet Revenge" is a total yummy cryfest. I don't know if this person has a presence on lj or not. Second, "Quantum Xander" and "Quantum Xander II" by![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
jameschick can be found here. These two stories are phenomenal; the concept of the story is derived from "Quantum Leap," but what Jameschick does with it is highly original. The fics are by turns, funny, sad, heartbreaking and suspenseful. Go now and check these out, the Lorraine commands it.
Finally, I've been wanting to do this for awhile. UCSL (link at the top of my lj) does not have a mechanism in place, like some other archives, for allowing you to save your fave fics in one area. So I have scraps of paper everywhere listing what fics I liked on this site. What follows is a masterlist of fics I enjoyed on this site (list does not reflect the recent update) so that I can toss the fire hazards.
