From Ashes Reborn by

At times this story is silly (witness the background Lucius/Molly), but it's also very tender and underscored with just the right amount of angst and missed opportunities. Harry and Draco start a relationship shortly after the Battle of Hogwarts, but neither of them can ever manage to say what they really mean or what they need and suddenly twenty three years apart have gone by.
The World Thy Gaol by

What would it be like to be a Malfoy after Voldemort was defeated? Even if he escaped Azkaban or other retribution, how could he show his face in the wizarding world again? This is a fic in which Draco finds a way to hide his face.
Draco Malfoy, It's Your Lucky Day by

Even though this is a Harry and Draco with all the raw edges filed off, I really, really like this story. It's an excellent mystery, wonderfully plotted, and the reveal is so very sweet.

I realize that I risk bringing the ire of the entire internet down on my head by admitting that I read and enjoyed this story (see SPN RPF for more details), but I did. I read it. And I liked it. And I maintain, fervently, that if we can happily accept in fandom stories in which the characters we love are raped by their fathers or do massive amounts of drugs rather than the moderate Lorraine!approved amount or stay with abusive partners or whathaveyou, why do we roundly condemn stories in which one of the characters is overweight? It doesn't track for me. While this story does not quite endear me to it in the same way as Jared and Jensen eating donut crumbs from each others' navels, there is still much love in the saga of The Boy Who Ate.
