What do you do when you're married to a superhero? How do you cope with secret identities, missed engagements, fear for your loved one, and the financial difficulties associated with the inability to keep a job for any length of time--especially when you still love your man as much as you did the day you married him? I really like this fic. Most of the superhero fics I've read are cracky and funny, and this one isn't at all. This is not to say that there aren't moments of humor and lightheartedness, but overall this fic is more serious and deals with a variety of issues from the problems of raising a superhero child to the dangers of sex with someone who can crush a person if he loses control. Really, really nicely done.

I can see the femslash--Cylon girl loving, Ahoy! Or Kat/Kara! Or, or Kat/Racetrack, mmmmmm. And I can embrace the m/m slash--Chief/Helo, anybody?

But I am shipping all the het ships, HARD! I want Kara/Lee and Kara/Sam and D/Lee and D/BILLYOMGBILLY and Sharon/Chief and Athena/Helo and ADAMA/ROSLINOTP4EVER and Gaius/Caprica 6 and Kallie/Chief and Kat/Hotdog and Ellen/Anyfrakkingbody LOL.

I can't even trawl for fic for fear of being spoiled. *sniff*

I suppose this is your warning. We just finished disc three of season 3, and when this mother is done, it's gonna be like a fic'splosion in your face. I want to write fic for this show so badly, I can taste it.

I have many things to say about how much I love Starbuck and how Adama and Roslin are the parental figures of humanity and how Chief could be my very own personal Handy Smurf any day of the week, but I think I'm gonna hold off on the meta until I'm finished with the show as well.
