month_of_meta again! This is a very low-pressure meta fest, and I really enjoyed participating last year. Check it out.
2. Now that I have not only seen the light at the end of the tunnel but passed through that light and on to the glory on the other side, I am ready to jump back into fandom with both feet. To that end, I am excited to get the ball rolling on that low-pressure All Things Gateverse Fest I'd posted about before. What I intend to do is make a post for people to leave prompts in (no need to participate to leave a prompt, no need to sign-up for a prompt, prompts to cover All the Things--meta, icons, artwork, fic, rec sets, etc) and then at the end of May post a master list linking to all the prompt fills.
3. I need help with a couple things to make #2 happen though. First, do you think I should make a separate post for people to post fills to or does that just unnecessarily complicate things? What should I call this sucker? I lack wit; Sheppard would never let me name anything. What communities should I publicize this fest in? And finally, when I do get the prompt post up, would y'all spread the word? I don't expect participation to be huge here, but if we can get a handful of new fanworks in the Gateverse, I'll be satisfied. :)
