Oh, lord. This book actually made me tear up at the end. LOL
Judy continues to be indomitable (and very kind).

I wish there were more of these books to read. I am so curious about what happens to Arietty and her family in the future (especially whether she and Spiller do end up getting married one day). Absolutely loved seeing the Platters get hoist by their own petard.
Norton is just so wonderfully clever. This series has been a joy to read.

This is one of those rare occasions when I prefer the TV show to the book. I like the story that's told in the book, but it differs significantly from the story told in the TV show, and I like the TV show version better (I think because the book is way grosser and more grotesque and adult than the show).
There's a couple of ESL errors throughout, too, which seem to have escaped the editing process.
On the whole, I think this is a very interesting book, but I definitely think it's too mature for the seven year old I was reading it to (even though she thoroughly enjoyed it). LOL I think this is intended more for the pre-teen crowd.

This was really sweet. An aging dog is going to euthanized because his owner has been moved to a nursing home that doesn't accept pets, but Chester and the gang intervene to save the day. I wasn't tearing up at the end. The wind was in my eyes. That's it.
