Thank you so much! It was a tough prompt, but what a great response - the choice of time and place, and how Ben and Xander reach out to each other. He needs to have something now that She’s never touched. Just one moment that belongs solely to him, one moment that’s entirely under his control; poor Ben; so true.

Then he is subsumed in Her obliterating glory. As is their whole relationship. Poor Ben again. But at least he was allowed to forget.
