I'm going to work on them both! I love the idea of Xander showing up on Serenity and seeing Caleb instead of Mal and then working to fit in with the crew.
The other fic is much darker; John has essentially stolen Elizabeth (because he feels like she's in danger from Earth, the IOA, whatever) after Rodney saves her with the nanites and lies to her and says that Atlantis has been destroyed.
