Venom Resources

lunabee34So, for um, Reasons, where is the best place for me to go to find out about Venom?
Just looking for a quick, easily navigated resource that can tell me stuff like the name of Venom's home planet and his race of people.
What are they like on their home planet? Are they naturally the amorphous, tenacley blobs? Do they also take hosts on their home planet? Or do they only do that when they leave their home planet and go to other planets? If so, is joining with a non-human host really different? Would Riot or Venom have had a host before? Do they keep a prison full of potential hosts of different races? So many world building questions.
Of course, if you are a comics fan and know the answers to these questions, that would also be very awesome.
