P.S. Fpreg is my jam, not mpreg (because femslasher), but I support those who love mpreg anyway!

Really pleased with how well the drabble definition is doing (though personally, I don't include the title. I always go with the AO3 count for drabbles, and it doesn't count anything that's not in the body, so).

Which Weasleys are we bashing, exactly? Because I am always up to criticize Molly and Arthur's shitty-ass parenting.

I am so on-board with most of these (ignoring canon and happily so? check following actors and writing crossovers and AUs based on that? yep, that's me!) you wouldn't believe it :)

Is ignoring canon being a scourge upon fandom? Because canon is only a guideline upon which we can build whatever the fuck we want. That is my FIRM, FIRM BELIEF about fandom and you can pry that belief out of my cold, dead hands.

I know this is tongue in cheek, but jumping in to say that I'm an odd nut in that I love the Weasleys, but I also see people's points about their faults. I see them as the equivalent of a kind but very conservative family that has to work on some of their biases, including the ways they think they're progressive but aren't. The great thing is that they do. I don't know what Molly's reaction to her kids having been taught by a werewolf was, but I doubt it was a great one; she later befriends that same man. Percy took their very strict standards for Good to the next level by following the wrong person, but even he came around.

Also, even knowing its problems, I can't help but love Ron/Hermione. I just wish they'd come together differently. (I dunno, I devoted seven years to that ship, it's hard to not have a soft spot for it. Although I gotta admit, some R/Hr shippers drove me nuts back in the day.)

I'm not the "half the otp fics are me" person, but I am six of the top 20 hits of otp:true on Draco/Hermione and seven of them on Draco/Pansy. XD So that works for me!

I love me some Weasley bashing but even more, I love some Dumbledore bashing. He just strung Harry along and Harry let him do it. I have a hard time reading canon anymore, I tend to scream at the people in the books.

I haven't just written more than half the fics for my OTP, 95% of the words about them on Ao3 were written by me. Should I feel compelled to write anything further about them, I'll probably keep it to myself. :P

And I didn't check the lalala canon box, because I'm almost always a canon whore. But I just realized that this particular ship is based on completely ignoring canon, and I have so internalized my re-writing of it that I forgot that's what I was doing!

Now I want fic in which Mr Darcy from P&P is Tony's daughter. I wonder if there are any of those to be found. It seems unlikely. ::wanders off to look::

i don't really write fic, (just on the old sg-1 five things & the 3-sentence fic-a-thons) but i think i've wrote in the second & first (possibly third) person & present tense.

and i think everyone pretends that certain things in cannon (sometimes whole episodes or even entire seasons) didn't happen.

Not Darcy (though I've enjoyed Darcy fic before), but I do tend to take a peripheral character as my LBD. 😆

In my most recent fandom, I haven't written half the fic for my OTP or my fave, but I wrote some of the earliest fic for my OTP and I've had the very strange but kinda cool experience of getting in on the ground floor for some of the fanon/tropes for them. I'm used to coming in ten years late with Starbucks! I don't know what I'm doing here! But it's hella fun.

Meanwhile I love that both "ship the juggernaut" and "don't ship the juggernaut" are both fandom transgressions. That sounds about right. 😅

(I don't tend to do "fave is the child of other fave/major canon character", but again, my most recent fandom's main character is that *in canon* and I love her, so I just have to laugh at my younger self, who would have been appalled.)

<g> I marked both "don't ship the juggernaut!" and "ship the hell out of the juggernaut!" It totally depends on my mood from day to day and week to week.

Didn't mark "need no beta", but I'm conflicted. Sometimes for story-flow... but, hell, I AM a beta. I can check my own spelling, punctuation, grammar, sentence structure... and I'm a lot harder on myself than anyone else could be.
