1. Thoughts while watching commercials: No matter what reactions I might have to taking new meds, at least MY new Rx does not list perineum rot as a potential side effect.
2. I might not need fancy pencils, but Fiona surely does. I put the pile of fancy pencils on the desk where she does her homework, and when she expressed interest in them, I told her she could use them to do her homework. The day before they were to go back to M, I asked her if she wanted me to see if M would let her have one. She said, "Yes, please! They're so pretty. And it makes me feel good to use them." So, clearly a chip off the old block.
3. Might I rec to you Baby Foot Exfoliating Peel? So my feet had gotten pretty gnarly without any visits to the spa; one of my magazines recced this product, and I could not be more pleased. It smells really strongly of lavender, which I love. You just sit for an hour with your feet in the little plastic booties, and about a week later, the top layer of skin on your feet starts peeling off. That takes a few days to complete, so do not do this when you're going to be wearing sandals. My feet are as smooth and beautiful as if I'd gone to the spa and had them sanded and rubbed for an hour. This is going into the routine rotation.
4. Emma had her final race of her senior year. She ran really, really well. I am so happy that she went out on a high note. Thus ends her participation in organized sports. I really hope she keeps up with the running on her own. I think she will. It's really important to her.
5. We started watching Korra and Wizards of Arcadia. The latter is fine but not nearly as good as the other two series set in the same universe.

Date: 2020-10-29 03:49 pm (UTC)For several days, it seems like the BB feet is not doing anything, and then your skin starts sloughing off. It doesn't all come off at once. What I did was take baths every day once it started and then scrub my feet off with a towel after it each bath, and that really helped. Your feet will look super janky for about three or four days, and then they will be bb smooth.
