lunabee341. Josh got promoted to Senior Lecturer!!!!!! I have been so worried about this and what it might mean for us if he was denied this promotion. Our system has a rule that you can only be a Lecturer for ten years unless you are promoted to Senior Lecturer, which made me really nervous. I am so proud of him and so relieved and so grateful. This is huge. I cried when he opened the letter.
2. Six months ago, the light and fan in the study stopped working. A friend came over to repair it today, and it was, ah, a dead battery in the wall panel. *headdesk* :)
3. Yesterday Fiona told me she wants to marry a boy who is nice but rich and older than she is but smaller than she is. *dies laughing*
