Awwww. *blushes* Thank you. I enjoy writing them. I feel like my reading is so eclectic and all over the place. I always wonder if people subscribe to me expecting one thing and then are all, What now? LOL

The author of that book is a big deal poet; the book won a prize. I don't know if I'm just too stupid to get it (and I do think that ignorance is part of it; he's clearly elaborating on mythology from his Mexican ancestry in ways that I'm not getting). But also, I don't think it's entirely me being too stupid. IDK. I do not like it. At all. LOL
