It's so weird how hair can change over time. Mine has never changed in terms of type (it's always been mostly straight with a slight wave) but I was born with dark brown hair, then as a toddler it was very light blond and got darker as I got older, while still being in the dark blond category. From late teens through my twenties I dyed it a lot, so I have no idea when the change actually took place, but at some point as an adult it turned to very dark brown. And now it's getting salt and peppery, but of course that's a change that's more expected.
