Yup. Pretty much my take on Tropic of Cancer. It was more remarkable in the context of its times; it did nothing for me on any level.

Sorry I didn't jump in on the Ouida stuff. This summer got away from me, as always -- I got a lot done, but not anything close to my ambitious early-summer goals.
