Here's the way this will work:

Take a looksee at the prompt list and get inspired. Write a fic or ~~ten~~ two--anything from a drabble to a novel-length epic. Any incarnation of SPN fic is fair game--from het to slash to gen to crossovers to RPF (if you can find a way to make that work with any of these prompts). Post a link to what you've written to the Fic Masterlist Post I'll make on March 18, and enjoy what everyone else's written. This is no-pressure. You're not writing for anyone but yourself; you don't even have to tell me if you're going to participate (although I would like to gauge the interest in this project), so no worries if you find the muse leaves you hanging. Please pimp this out. The more people that participate, the more fun it will be.

8. John Winchester's journal says that after Mary's death he "went to Missouri and learned the truth". And how, exactly, did that go? And/or, how did John learn so much about hunting? Did he have a mentor, or was there simply a lot of trial and error?

9. Fairies. Because there's tons of lore on them to work with, and also a lot of ways it could turn out fun.

10. Dean picks up the wrong girl in one of his random hookups. Perhaps a succubus? Sam comes to his rescue.

11. The Winchester boys try to get their dad out of hell. Possibly by negotiation, possibly by trickery, possibly by storming the infernal gates.

12. Five things Sam and Dean say to each other that really mean something else.

13. As Sam's psychic powers grow, he starts getting flashes of what Dean's thinking sometimes. What does he see, and how does it affect their lives?

14. In the pilot Dean says Sam ran away from home when he left for Stanford. Sam says he left home to attend college. What if Dean was right and Sam did run away? What
are the wincesty implications (if any)?

15. What if John, and not Mary, died on the ceiling and she raised the boys on the road in search of the demon that took John... how would things have been different for Sam & Dean? Would Mary have found and eliminated the demon sooner? Or might they possibly have grown up "normal" because Mary might not have explored the supernatural aspect of John's death?

16. Explore the notion (as mentioned in John's journal) that Dean didn't speak for nearly a year after Mary died, sleeping curled up around baby Sammy. What memories does Sam have of that time as a baby? What might John have told the boys of that period in their lives? Did Sam & Dean ever discuss that period of their childhood once they grew up? Does Dean still sleep wrapped around his baby brother?

17. I've always assumed that Dean taught Sam how to drive, in the Impala of course. What was that experience like for both boys? How did John figure into the driving lessons? Did he even know? Did he not want to know, just told Dean to take care of teaching Sam? What kind of sexual shenanigans did the boys get up to during the lessons? Did they make use of the back seat? I guess this would qualify as wee!cest. LOL It could also be extremely comical in nature.

18. How has Sam remembered Dean's birthday throughout the years? Were there special celebrations only the two of them shared? Did John know about their private birthdays?

19. John discovers his son's affection for each other is more than brotherly. S/D wincest all the way on this one LOL!

20. Sam's first date w/a girl. It doesn't go well for whatever reason; Sam is bored w/the girl or doesn't want to do anything when she gets frisky. Perhaps the girl asked Sam out, he didn't want to accept but was goaded to by Dean. Dean later has regrets
about encouraging Sam to go on the date. Dean comes to the rescue. Dean might even have been tailing Sam & his date the entire time just to make sure nothing bad happens to Sammy OR because he was jealous! Confessions abound and Sam reveals he really
wants to "date" -- Dean. The boys make-out in the Impala!

21a. Detail some "every day" moments between John, Dean & Sam, preferably before emo teen Sam reared his head. Did they have light moments as a family? Ever? Birthday celebrations, Father's Day, first day of school, visits to John's hunter friends (didn't any of these people have family like John did??? Well, we know Bill had Ellen & Jo for one), school pageants/plays, Sam's soccer games, Dean's football games in HS etc

21b. I've always imagined that Dean, more so than John, would make an effort w/Sam when he was a young kid to let him experience as many "normal" things as possible as long as funds allowed. Detail some of these excursions. Did Dean ever take Sam to the
movies? Take him for pizza after school? Take him to the zoo?

22. We all know that Sam and Dean are always being mistaken for lovers. So, what would happen if they woke up on the floor of their latest hotel room - curled up together - with amnesia, and come to the same conclusion? What happens when the amnesia wears off?

23. Dr. Badass Gets Laid: I really want to read tears streaming down my face, bad!fic to the nth degree, hilarious Ash gets laid fic. Like maybe he's Ellen's kept boy, trading ever increasingly perverse sexual favors for room and board. Or Dean gets hit by a spell that makes him love Ash more than the Impala. Or maybe Sam has to sex the doctor up in order to keep him alive. *vbg*

24. Sometimes, it's just easier to let people think their gay (5 times Sam and Dean played up someone thinking their gay in a graphic way to help an investigation).

25. Sam might not like Dean hustling pool, but the fact of the matter is when Sam's there to distract the bastards they win a lot more money and he damn well knows it. (One night at a bar when the brothers are hustling together.)

26. The one thing John really wasn't expecting to see when he checked in on his boys durring those months he was missing was them making out like teenagers with Sam propt up on the hood of the impala.

27. When a waitress accidentally over hears Sam and Dean's conversation about their hunt (that went badly, but they got they put the spirit to rest in the end) the night before. Her thoughts? What does she hear?
